Established in 2011 at Mount Keira, Alchemy Health Clinic relocated to a purpose built clinic in Port Kembla in 2014. Recently undergone major renovations, Alchemy Health Clinic provides a unique space. The addition of a large space with a garden outlook, Alchemy provides opportunities for specialised treatment areas, events, group activities and guest speakers with disability access. The Illawarra Lymphoedema Service was established by Jan Hunter out of a community need for a full time, comprehensive and holistic approach to the prevention and management of  Lymphatic conditions. The intention of the ILS is to offer a multidisciplinary service with experienced clinicians for the early intervention, treatment  and management of lymphatic dysfunction.

The focus of the  Illawarra Lymphoedema Service is lymphatic health by using latest technology and best practice to support patients in their recovery during and after cancer treatment as well as other  lymphatic conditions. Our Lymphoedema practitioners have  advanced level accreditation  and individually specialize in areas such as: palliative care, wound care, oncology massage, lymph taping and garment fitting.​

Jan believes understanding the role of the lymphatic and associated systems through education is the first step to managing Lymphatic conditions and lymphoedema. It is for this reason the Illawarra Lymphoedema Service  offer education workshops on lifestyle and health once with guest practitioners speaking on a broad range of topics to support clients, carers and other health professionals for informed health choices.
